Marittimo Apartments was born from the rehabilitation of an old and emblematic 19th century fishermen's house for its conversion into independent tourist apartments, in the heart of the unique and artistic neighborhood of Cabanyal, in the city of Valencia. The property retains all the elements of the architecture of the time, which gives it an authentic and special character, where the traveler can have a pleasant experience during their stay in a characteristic and unique environment.
The rehabilitation works have been oriented to the conservation and valuation of all the historical elements intrinsic to the building, working according to the regulations and requirements in force in terms of architecture, habitability, insulation, conditioning and resistance.
Inside, the apartments are equipped with all the comforts and decorative details for a comfortable and pleasant stay. They have refrigerator, oven, TV, kitchen accessories, sheets and towels. They have independent access through smart entry locks, with armored door and security systems. For privacy reasons, no external cleaning services are provided during your stay.
Free parking is available nearby and laundry and bike rental services are available. History
1861
The origin.
After the independence of Italy (1861) and the expulsion of the Bourbons, rulers of the former Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, many citizens loyal to the old regime returned to Spain.
1890
The old bread oven.
Upon arriving in Valencia, one of these expelled families took up residence in the Cabanyal, building their first house in this building and, being excellent bakers, they used part of the house for the bread business.
1990
The ruins of the old furnace.
The kiln operated for many years until the 1980s, when it closed its doors and fell into a state of abandonment.
2021
Rehabilitation.
It was in 2016 when by the hand of an Italian investor, the building was acquired for its comprehensive rehabilitation.

L’appartamento molto comodo e carino, abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario in piena autonomia. Il proprietario non l’abbiamo neanche visto, poiché l’accesso è tutto automatizzato mediante chiavi elettroniche, ma è stato in contatto con noi tutto il tempo via whatsapp e ci ha chiarito i pochi dubbi che avevamo.
